Dragon Duo
Beth Boitman Kristi Eveland

The Southlake Carroll Lady Dragons

face one of the toughest roads to

Austin of any team in the State.

First, they have to finish in the top

three of a very competitive district 5,

then they have to face the monster competiton from district 7 that includes defending STATE CHAMPION Arlington Bowie, DeSoto and powerhouse Duncanville.

Yet, that is exactly what head coach

Randy Sherman and his charges have

high hopes of over coming in 2005-06.

The Lady Dragons held their own last season, but what could possibly make them think they will hurdle all that

stands before them? Let's start with

two of the most versatile players in Texas. Beth Boitman and Kristi Eveland.

Some might balk before such a challenge, but coach Randy Sherman has his program excited about trying to beat the odds
Coach Sherman has confidence in his team because they have 9 returning lettermen and the leadership of Beth & Kristi. He says about Kristi that "Athletically, there is nothing she can not do.  She is quick and long, which makes her a terrific defender."

Kristi Eveland is listed as the #22 ('06) senior by Gordon Loucks.

Kristi is a great defensive player, but the Lady Dragons will need her to look to score more aggressively as a senior. She also needs to be more vocal to complete her game. Kristi has not committed to a University, as of yet, but she has a number of big schools trying to sign her.

Kristi says "I think I can help my team be successful through being a leader. We will have a very large and strong senior class with a lot of experience but coming together will be the largest key to our success."

Beth Boitman is listed as the #62 ('06) senior by Gordon Loucks.
